What this site provides
This site provides a single free tool: a GPA calculator that estimates a weighted and unweighted grade point average from the classes, grades, credit hours, and course levels you enter. It runs entirely in your browser, requires no account or sign-up, and is provided at no cost. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and no advertising that gates access to the calculator itself.
Accuracy and the estimate disclaimer
The calculator uses a common United States plus/minus 4.0-point grading scale and a common weighting convention (+0.5 for Honors, +1.0 for AP or IB classes), described in full on the homepage. Individual schools and districts use different scales, different weighting bonuses, and different rounding rules, so the number this calculator produces is an estimate, not a guarantee of what your official transcript will show.
Do not submit a number from this calculator in place of an official transcript for a college application, scholarship, athletic eligibility determination, or any other decision where an exact, verified GPA matters. Always confirm the figure that matters against your school's registrar, guidance counselor, or official transcript.
No warranty
This tool is provided "as is," without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, whether express or implied. While reasonable care has gone into implementing the calculation correctly (see the worked example on the homepage), a bug, an unusual input, or an edge case that was not anticipated could still produce an incorrect result. Acceptable use
Use this calculator for its intended purpose: estimating a GPA from classes you enter. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, scrape it at a volume that degrades service for other visitors, or use any automated system to submit an excessive number of requests.
