Both routes reach the same place. There is no support ticket system and no account required for either option, which keeps the process as simple as the calculator itself.

What kind of messages are useful

A few categories of feedback are especially useful and get looked at closely.

Bug reports. If the weighted or unweighted GPA the calculator produces does not match what you expect for a specific set of classes, grades, credit hours, and levels, describe exactly what you entered and what result you got. A precise example (the actual class list, not just "it gave the wrong number") is far easier to investigate and fix than a general complaint.

Feature suggestions. If there is a grading scale variant, a weighting convention, or a related calculation (for example, converting a percentage grade to a letter grade before entering it) that would make this tool more useful for your specific school's policy, say so. Not every suggestion can be built, but every one is read.

Scale or policy corrections. The scale and weighting convention described on the homepage represent the more common approach used across US high schools, but grading policy is genuinely inconsistent between schools and districts. If you have a source indicating a materially different convention is more standard than what is currently described, that is useful information.

Privacy questions. See the privacy policy for the full detail first, since most privacy questions are already answered there (short version: nothing you type into the calculator is ever sent to a server). If something is still unclear after reading it, ask directly.

What this contact channel is not for

This is not an academic advising service and cannot tell you what your official GPA is, what a specific college's admission requirements are, or how a particular scholarship committee will interpret your transcript. Those questions belong with your school counselor, registrar, or the institution in question directly, since only they have access to your actual academic record and their own specific policies. Response times

This is a small, independently run site, not a company with a dedicated support team, so replies are not instant and there is no guaranteed response window. Straightforward bug reports with a clear example are usually the fastest to act on, since there is nothing to go back and forth about before the actual fix can start. General feedback and feature suggestions are read but may not get an individual reply, particularly if several people raise the same point.

Before you write in

A quick self-check can sometimes save a round trip: re-read the grade point scale and weighting explanation on the homepage to confirm your expected result matches the documented convention, and double-check that the credit hours you entered match what your school's own transcript lists for each class. Most "wrong result" reports turn out to be an input that did not match what was intended, not a calculation error, and confirming that first means any real bug report gets to the point faster.

What the anonymous feedback form includes

The short feedback form under the calculator sends only the text you type, with no email address, IP address, or browser fingerprint attached, protected by a spam filter so the form cannot be abused for automated submissions. If you want a reply, include an email address in the message itself, since there is otherwise no way to respond to an anonymous submission.
